Recreation of a chipped tooth

This beautiful young girl chipped her front permanent tooth. Dr. Foncea not only bonded it to replace the chip, but artistically recreated the tooth with its original striations to match!

Gingivitis – know the signs
There are several stages of periodontal (gum) disease, beginning with gingivitis. It is typically painless, and the symptoms are mild, leading many people to believe it is not a serious threat to oral health.

However, untreated gingivitis can lead to periodontitis, which damages bone and gum tissue, leading to tooth loss.

You could have gingivitis and not even know it. Call Sequoyah Dental Arts right away, if you have any of these symptoms:

• Gums that bleed when you brush your teeth

• Discoloration, uneven color, or other changes in
   the appearance of your gums

• Receding gumline

• Swollen or soft gum tissue

• Occasional tenderness in your gums

• Chronic bad breath

The number one cause of gingivitis is neglected oral health – poor hygiene, and skipping dental appointments.

The three most important things you can do to prevent gingivitis are brush after meals, floss daily, and visit Dr. Pablo Foncea for a cleaning and check-up.
Ipad Give Away!
Sequoyah Dental Arts is giving an Ipad 3 away to the patient who refers the most friends to our office during the 2012 year. Your referral is the best compliment we can receive.

We know that the best patients come from you our wonderful existing patients, so if you are pleased with us, we encourage you to tell all of your friends. The iPad will be given away just in time for the holidays in December.
